In fact, drinking water is distributed to all workers and their families in addition to all receiving free access to a clinic where all care is paid for by the estate itself, if necessary. A two-room house and building maintenance are provided to all permanent workers on the estate. In addition, a committee was set up to ensure that no child under the age of 18 is allowed to work on the plantation and that all workers' children are sent to school. In order to ensure ethics at work, operations management has given itself the mandate to actively protect the rights of their workers by promoting communication between unions, managers and employees. A committee for the protection of women was also set up.
